- Is Loden free?
- Yes — Loden is free during the beta. You'll install it through TestFlight, Apple's official app for trying pre-release apps.
- What do I need to use it?
- An iPhone. You install the beta through TestFlight (a free Apple app), sign in with your Apple ID, and start photographing outfits.
- What happens to my photos?
- Your photos are stored in private cloud storage, reachable only through short-lived signed links. They're sent to Anthropic's Claude to generate your critiques — that's core to how Loden works — and are never sold or used for advertising. Delete your account and everything goes with it.
- Do I have to tag or catalog my clothes?
- No. Point your camera at a piece and Loden identifies it and files it away. No forms, no manual tagging.
- What if I don't know my style?
- That's the point. Loden doesn't ask you to pick a style label or archetype. It learns what you like from what you actually wear and save — and gets sharper the more you use it.
- How is this different from Pinterest or a shopping app?
- Loden isn't about chasing trends or selling you clothes. It judges outfits against your taste, works from the wardrobe you already own, and suggests buying something only when nothing you have will do.
